What's your favourite 'soft goal' scored by West Ham?
I love a soft goal. It makes life so much easier.

A goalkeeping blunder or defensive calamity.

I'll go for Pottsy only goal. A 25 yard trickler through the keepers legs.

I'd never seen so much cocaine in my life than I saw in the pub before that cov game. Was like watching Scarface.

Little wonder then the berks making a load of noise during the minutes silence.

Still, a cracking day out.

against boro at home five odd years ago- swarzer had an easy back-pass / weak shot to gather- got his timing wrong and "just" allowed it over the line ;-)

Ipswich away on New Year's Day 2005. Pretty much from kick off, keeper missed controlled it and harewood tapped it in.

They were top that day IIRC, we scored our 2nd in the 90th min too, never seen that!

The one away to Blackburn in 'The Great Escape' when Zamora hit it and Tevez, whilst jumping, cleared it off the line.

The ref gave it, much to the protests of Blackburn players

Meant to add that that was the game when Ricardo Fuller got sent off for bitch-slapping Griffin in the aftermath of our equaliser. No West Ham had any clue what had gone on as we were too busy celebrating and all of a sudden the ref's pulled his red card out and one of Stoke players is walking off the pitch. It was only when I saw MoTD that I realised there'd been handbags.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who remembers that game against Stoke 5 or 6 years ago (where has that time gone!?) which was a fucking bizarre match, looking back and 3 soft goals.

Abdoulaye Faye (playing for Stoke at the time) put them 0-1 up when he practically walked unmarked on to a corner and headed it in after a couple of minutes.

We got back into it when Andy Griffin went down like a sack of shit when "shrugged off" by Cole and he put it in. I think our winner was a miscued effort by Carlton that deflected in off Diego Tristan's arse!

I didn't mind Tristan as he scored a free-kick up at Stoke that same season that won me a few quid and meant I could take the piss at work.

The Carragher own goal was wonderful stuff, although I prefer not to think about that game.

Christian Dailly's in Ipswich play off semis for me.

I remember a game against Arsenal in the Cup. Steve Bould, LUKIC and Dickens all challenged for a cross. The ball cannoned up into orbit off Bould's head and eventually descended back to earth with ice on it - just inside the post.

Dickens put us 2 up. Unfortunately McKNIGHT was in goal for us and contrived to dive over and out of the way of a couple of shots so it ended up 2-2.

We won the replay at Highbury 0-1 with McKNIGHT in goal!

Probably the first two in the 2006 Cup Final. Carraghers own goal (beautifully finished) and then Reina spilling Etherington's shot for Ashton to nudge home.

A young Steve Bould lobbing his own keeper at UP from about 25 yards in his Stoke days.

Got to be about 1983.

Didnt Cole's goal on his debut against Charlton in 1923 hit both posts before going in (or something like that)?

David Kelly - didn't he score one that came back off the bar, hit him on the head or back and went in?

Any of Carlton Cole's. A rare marvel to behold.
